Getting Started

How do I add my child?

Open MathLyft, go to the Kids tab, and tap + Add Kid. Enter their first name and (optionally) grade level. You'll get a 6-character code your child uses to log in — no email or password required for them.

How many kids can I add?

Both parent and teacher accounts currently support up to 5 kids each.

How does my child log in?

Your child enters the 6-character code on any device — phone, tablet, or computer. They can use the MathLyft mobile app or visit the MathLyft website. The code is all they need.

What is Auto Plan?

Auto Plan generates a fresh quiz automatically every day based on the skills you've selected. Wrong answers come back in future quizzes, and facts your child hasn't seen recently rotate in. Turn it on in your child's Skills page.

Common Questions

My child can't log in with their code

Codes are case-insensitive but every character matters. Double-check for confused characters (0 vs O, 1 vs I). If the code still doesn't work, open your parent account, go to your child's profile, and confirm the code shown there matches what you're entering.

How do I change which skills my child practices?

From the parent account, open your child's profile and tap Assign Quiz, then update the skills in the Auto Plan. Select or deselect the subskills you want — changes apply to the next quiz.

Can I pause practice for a while?

There's nothing to pause. Auto Plan only generates the next quiz after your child finishes the current one — quizzes don't pile up if they take a break. When they're ready, they just open the app and pick up where they left off. If you want them to practice a different topic in the meantime, send a one-time quiz from the Assign Quiz screen. To switch their daily practice to a new skill, just update the Auto Plan.

How do I delete a student or my account?

To delete a student, long-press their card on the Kids tab and confirm. To delete your entire account, go to ProfileDelete Account. Account deletion is permanent and removes all student profiles and practice history.

Does MathLyft work offline?

MathLyft requires an internet connection to load and submit quizzes. If your connection drops mid-quiz, your child can resume from where they left off once they're back online.

What devices does MathLyft support?

MathLyft works on iPhone, iPad, and any modern web browser. The same account syncs across devices.

Pricing

How much does MathLyft cost?

MathLyft is currently free to use. One account covers every kid in your family — there are no per-child fees and no subscription required.
